| 2 sagde Azarja, Maasejas søn, og Johanan, Kareas søn, og alle de andre overmodige mænd til Jeremias: »Du lyver! | 4 og Johanan, Karens søn, alle hærførerne og alt folket adlød ikke Herrens røst om at blive i Judas land; | 4 Saa lydde icke Johanan Kareah søn / oc alle Fyrster for Hære / oc alt Folcket / HErrens Røst / ad blifve i Juda Land. | 4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah. |
| 5 men johanan, kareas søn, og alle hærførerne tog hele Judas rest, som var vendt tilbage for at bo i Judas land, | 5 Men Johannan Kareah søn / oc alle Fyrster for Hæren / toge alt det ofverblefvet af Juda / de som var igien komne fra alle Hedninge / hvort hen de var hendrefne / ad vandre i Juda Land / | 5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah; |
| 6 mænd, kvinder og børn, kongedøtrene og enhver, som livvagts øverste Nebuzaradan havde ladet blive hos Gedalja, Sjafans søn Ahikams søn, også profeten Jeremias og Baruk, Nerijas søn, | 6 (Som er) Mænd / oc Qvinder oc Børn / oc Kongens Døttre / oc hvor Persoon / som NebusarAdan den Øfverste for Dravanterne hafde ladet blifve hos Gedaliam Ahikams søn / Saphans søns / oc Jeremiam Propheten / oc Baruch Neriæ søn / | 6 Even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah. |

| 9 Tag dig nogle store sten og grav dem ned i teglstensgulvets underlag ved indgangen til Faraos hus i takpankes i de judæiske mænds påsyn | 9 tag store Steen i den Haand / oc skiul dem i det slagne i TeglOonen / for er som Pharaos Huusis Dør i Thahpanhes / for Juda Mænds Øyne / | 9 Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah; |
| 10 og sig til dem: Så siger Hærskares Herre, Israels Gud: Jeg lader min tjener kong Nebukadrezar af Babel hente, og han skal rejse sin trone oven over de sten, du gravede ned, og brede sit trontæppe derover. | 10 Oc du skalt sige til dem / Saa sagde den HErre Zebaoth / Jsraels Gud / See / Jeg sender / oc lader hente Nabuchodonofor Kongen af Babylon / min Tienere / oc jeg vil sætte hans Stool ofven paa disse Steene / som jeg skiulte / oc hand skal udslaa sit skøne Pauluun ofver dem. | 10 And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. |

| 12 Han skal sætte ild på Ægyptens Gudehuse og afbrænde dem og bortføre guderne som fanger, og han skal svøbe Ægypten om sig, som en hyrde sin kappe; derpå skal han drage bort derfra i fred. | 12 Oc jeg vil optænde en Jld i Ægypti Afguders huus / oc dens kal opbrænde dem / oc hand skal bortføre dem fangne / oc hand skal omsvøbe sig med Ægypti Land / lige som en Hyrde omsvøber sig med sit Klædebon / oc drage der ud med Fred. | 12 And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace. |
| 13 Han skal nedbryde stenstøtterne i Bet-Sjemesj og afbrænde Ægyptens gudehuse. | 13 Oc hand skal sønderbryde Støtterne i BethSemias som er udi Ægypti Land / oc opbrænde Ægypti Afguders huus med Jlden. | 13 He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire. |
