| 1 Nadab og Abihu døde før deres far; de havde ingen sønner. Eleazar og Itamar gjorde præstetjeneste. | 1 Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. |
| 2 David og Sadok, der hørte til Eleazars sønner, og Akimelek, der hørte til Itamars sønner, ind delte dem i embedsskifter til deres tjeneste. | 2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest's office. |
