| 1 Giv agt på måneden abib, og hold påske for Herren din Gud, for i måneden abib førte Herren din Gud dig ud af Egypten om natten. | 1 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there. |
| 2 Du skal slagte påskeofferdyret, får eller okse, for Herren din Gud på det sted, Her ren udvælger til bolig for sit navn. | 2 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction: for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life. |
| 3 Du må ikke spise syrnet brød til; i syv dage skal du spise usyrede brød, trængselsbrød, for i al hast drog du ud af Egypten. Så længe du lever, skal du huske på den dag, du drog ud af Egypten. | 3 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning. |
| 4 I syv dage må der inden for dine enemærker ikke findes surdej, og intet af det kød, du slagter om aftenen den første dag, må ligge natten over. | 4 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee: |
| 5 Du må ikke slagte påskelammet hjemme i nogen af dine byer, som Herren din Gud giver dig. | 5 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt. |
| 6 Kun på det sted, Herren din Gud udvælger til bolig for sit navn, må du slagte påskelammet, om aftenen, ved solnedgang, det tidspunkt da du drog ud afEgypten. | 6 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents. |
| 7 Du skal koge det og spise det på det sted, Herren din Gud udvælger, og om morgenen skal du begive dig hjem. | 7 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein. |
| 8 I seks dage skal du spise usyrede brød; på den syvende dag skal der være festforsamling for Herren din Gud; da må du ikke udføre noget arbejde. | 8 Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn. |
| 9 Du skal tælle syv uger frem; fra det øjeblik du sætter seglen til kornet, skal du begynde at tælle syv uger. | 9 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee: |
| 10 Så skal du fejre ugefesten for Herren din Gud med så mange frivilligofre, som du kan give, alt efter hvad Herren din Gud har velsignet dig med. | 10 And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there. |
| 11 Du skal glæde dig for Herren din Guds ansigt sammen med din søn og datter, din træl og trælkvinde, og sammen med levitterne, som bor i dine byer, og sammen med de fremmede, de faderløse og enkerne hos dig, på det sted, Herren din Gud udvælger til bolig for sit navn. | 11 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes. |
| 12 Husk, at du selv var træl i Egypten, og følg omhyggeligt disse love! | 12 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: |
| 13 Løvhyttefesten skal du fejre i syv dage, når du bringer udbyttet fra din tærskeplads og fra din vinperse i hus. | 13 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates. |
| 14 Du skal glæde dig under festen sammen med din søn og datter, din træl og trælkvinde, og sammen med levitterne og med de fremmede, de faderløse og enkerne, som bor i dine byer. | 14 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice. |
| 15 I syv dage skal du fejre festen for Herren din Gud på det sted, Herren udvælger. For Herren din Gud vil velsigne dig med hele din afgrøde og i al din gerning; derfor skal du være glad. | 15 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: |
| 16 Tre gange om året skal alle mænd hos dig se Herren din Guds ansigt på det sted, han udvælger: ved de usyrede brøds fest, ved ugefesten og ved løvhyttefesten. Tomhændet må ingen seHerrens ansigt; | 16 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee. |
| 17 enhver af jer skal give, hvad han formår, alt efter den velsignelse, Herren din Gud har givet dig. | 17 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment. |
| 18 I hver af jeres stammer skal du indsætte dommere og skrivere i de byer, som Herren din Gud giver dig, og de skal dømme folket retfærdigt. | 18 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. |
| 19 Du må ikke bøje retten, du må ikke begunstige nogen, og du må ikke lade dig bestikke, for bestikkelse blinder øjnene på de vise og forvansker de uskyldiges sag. | 19 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. |
| 20 Retfærdighed alene skal du stræbe efter, for at du må leve og tage det land i besiddelse, som Herren din Gud vil give dig. | 20 Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee. |
| 21 Du må ikke plante noget træ som Ashera?pæl ved siden af et alter, du bygger for Herren din Gud. | 21 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth. |
| 22 Du må heller ikke opstille nogen stenstøtte. Den slags hader Herren din Gud. | 22 Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God. |
