| 2 En sang. Salme af Kora-sønnerne. Herren er stor og højt lovprist i vor Guds by. Hans hellige-bjerg | 2 A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. |
| 3 knejser smukt til fryd for hele jorden, Zions-bjerg i det yderste nord, den store konges by. | 3 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. |
| 4 Gud er i dens borge, han giver sig til kende som værn. | 4 God is known in her palaces for a refuge. |
| 5 For kongerne sluttede sig sammen og rykkede frem i flok. | 5 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together. |
| 6 Men da de så op, blev de målløse og flygtede i rædsel, | 6 They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away. |
| 7 på stedet blev de grebet af angst, af veer som den fødende. | 7 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail. |

| 10 Gud, vi har oplevet din troskab her i dit tempel. | 10 We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. |
| 11 Som dit navn er, Gud, sådan skal din lovsang lyde til jordens ender; din højre hånd er fuld af retfærdighed. | 11 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. |
| 12 Zions-bjerg skal glæde sig, Judas døtre skal juble over dine domme. | 12 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. |
| 13 Gå omkring Zion, gå rundt om den, og tæl dens tårne. | 13 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. |
| 14 Læg mærke til dens ringmur, gå gennem dens borge, så I kan fortælle den kommende slægt, | 14 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. |
| 15 at sådan er Gud, vor Gud i al evighed, han skal lede os! Al-mut. | 15 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. |
